Change a Child's Life Forever! Starting in August 2006 the
Soldaditos de Jesus Ministry will open the doors of the first children, dining hall appropriately named 'SOLDADITOS DE JESUS in the town of Condega, Nicaragua.
Children between the ages of 5 and 12 will be provided with a daily meal, Monday through Friday, as well as Biblical Education and scholastic support.

Our goal is to provide long lasting solutions. After attending to immediate and basic needs such as Medical Assistance, Family Support, and Counseling, we want to establish long term strategies to bring about changes that will help transform the environment in which these children live. Love being the main ingredient to accomplish this goal.

Impact on the Child's Spiritual Life?

The driving force behind Soldaditos de Jesus Ministry is our Love for our Lord Jesus Christ. Through our work we try to follow His example of Love and Sacrifice.

We want to show each child that they are loved by God and we take every possible opportunity to share Christian values with them. We will also keep you informed on the progress of each child.

Please pray for the child that you support to achieve a physical and spiritual change in his or her life. During the year we will let you know of the child's specific needs, his family and community so that you can pray for him and these needs.

How will my Patronage help change the life of the child that I am sponsoring?

The purpose of this patronage is not to provide short term assistance. The goal is to transform the lives of these children living in poverty, offering them hope for a better future.

Your contribution together with that of others will help provide first of all daily nourishment to improve their heath through better nutrition. Educational materials for teachers and students (pencils, paper etc.) will educate them both in the ways of the Lord and scholastic accomplishments. Your sponsored child will directly benefit from your help

What is the time frame of my Sponsorship?

There is a lot of work to be done with the families and communities, you could very well enjoy years of blessings sponsoring a child.
When the families are able to take control of the child's future it is time of great joy and celebration. We await with great anticipation the arrival of such days ahead and it is a great privilege to be able to participate and to hear the families say

At times, it is possible that our sponsored child is no longer available to us because he moved out of our area or has turned 12 years old, or graduated. Each child's situation is different but whether it is a year or ten you can be assured that the gift of your Love will change the life of that Child. There is always another child just as needy waiting for your love and support.

If you become a Sponsor, you will received a letter with a picture of the child that you have sponsored. You will be able to write and exchange correspondence. In the following months we will work on the development of this communication.
